Our goal in counseling is to help other believers come to an understanding that Christ lives His life in them for the purpose of living His life through them. “ For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.”Col.3: 4 & 5.

Knowing our co-crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection with Christ through such scriptures as Romans 6 and Galatians 2:20 leads us to forsake our dependence on the flesh for trying to make life work and to come into total dependence on Christ to live His life through us.

We come alongside our counselees with empathy, encouragement, and biblical teaching as they go through the painful process of letting go of their lifelong fleshly strategies to make life work out of their own resources, and begin by faith to walk moment by moment in total dependence on Christ as their life.

At C.A.L.M. we hold fast to the truth that The Lord Jesus is actually the counselor, and we rejoice that Father has granted to us the high privilege of participating in what He is doing in the lives of His children.

Our purpose as counselors is to glorify God, both in our personal lives and in our counseling ministry.
